Experience:
Starting at $82,914
Responsibilities:
Preparing combined and consolidated financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), inclusive of footnotes and supplementary schedules.
Preparing month end flux analyses as a part of the month end reviews.
Manage intercompany elimination processes.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close.
Ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
Prepare documentation for external auditors and assist with coordination of audits.
Support and assist with accounting related system implementations and upgrades.
Review account reconciliations for accuracy.
Protects organizations by maintaining confidentiality of all financial information.
Collaborate closely with Accounting Leadership in a timely manner.
Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting processes and procedures to enhance process efficiencies.
Support and assist with any assignment, as requested.
Drive best practices and continuous improvement.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Supervise consolidation team and manage their time to ensure all deadlines are met.
Responsible for assisting the Director of Financial Reporting in making sure any consultant or auditors under contract are progressing towards timely completion of goals.
Key Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Ability to draft financial statements and memos with technical accounting writing skills.
Ability to assess control risk and effectiveness in accounting processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
Four years of related experience, big four accounting firm experience preferred.
Experience with consolidations and financial reporting to meet internal management needs, as well as external compliance and regulation requirements.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
