47 an hour 16 hours ago 16 hours ago 16 hours ago This position is responsible for reporting to and assisting the Construction Manager in performing professional construction administration work in the design, review, and management of assigned capital improvement construction projects.
Areas include, but are not limited to, District buildings, park improvements, and other Civil discipline and vertical (facility) asset projects.
Position is also responsible for assisting the Construction Manager in the maintenance, planning and repairs of District assets, including but not limited to Fire Stations; items such as roofing, HVAC including chillers with remote controls, plumbing, electrical, pools, sports courts, flooring, paint, furniture, windows, fixtures (lighting and plumbing), restrooms, kitchens, stages, retractable doors, generators, audio systems, sidewalks, curbs, patios, parking lots, dumpster enclosures, fencing, janitorial, pressure washing, pest control, fire alarms, station call-out and suppression systems.
Establishment of effective daily communication and a mutually productive working relationship between other Departments and contractors is essential.
Ability to efficiently plan, schedule, inspect work while achieving timely completion of projects is essential.
Maintains and ensures contractual obligations are followed by all contractors while abiding by all state, local and federal laws required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
