In collaboration with the greater marketing team, this role implements and maintains social media initiatives that support the marketing goals and objectives of The Villages through use of our social media accounts.
This position is responsible for recommending original content, suggesting creative ways to attract more Villagers, and promoting our brand.
It helps increase web traffic and customer engagement to ensure The Villages remains top of mind.
This role is a vital member of the Marketing Team.
These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.
Full-Time, On-Site position.

Responsibilities:
Understands resident audiences and current social trends.
Collaborates with the Creative Team to develop engaging text, image, and video content in alignment with The Villages voice and brand.
Writes copy for social media platforms.
Designs posts to sustain readers' curiosity and create a buzz around new initiatives.
Suggests new ways to attract additional followers and prospective residents.
Provides input and helps manage the monthly social calendar.
Responds to comments in a timely manner.
Facilitates online conversations with customers and responds to queries.
Measures the success of social media campaigns.
Stays up to date with changes on all social platforms, ensuring maximum effectiveness.
Works closely with the creative and social media teams to share social media trends and best practices for developing content specifically for social media.
Monitors and manages reviews on social media channels.
Utilizes office computer and office equipment (copier, scanner, etc.
) along with a host of other software applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, social Media applications (ex:
Hootsuite/SproutSocial), Workfront and subsequent project management tools.
Attends special meetings, educational sessions and assists leadership in ongoing training of team members as asked.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) in Marketing, Communications or related field and a minimum of two (2) years direct experience in social media on behalf of a brand or a combination of six (6) years education and experience.
Strong in social media copywriting, with great attention to detail required.
Solid understanding of web and social media analytics to include proficiency in Google Analytics and related social media tools (ex:
Hootsuite, SproutSocial, etc.
) needed.
Excellent time management and organization skills a must.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
