Part Time Unit Clerk/CNA
The Club Health and Rehabilitation Center at The Villages, a 60 bed rehab facility, is seeking an energetic Unit Clerk to join our team.
The Unit Clerk is responsible for providing support to the facility. The primary duties include assisting the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse in their day-to-day recording and charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records. Assisting the nursing personnel in maintaining the medical records and medical information in an organized informative and descriptive manner. The Unit Clerk will greet visitors, answer phones, schedule doctor appointments, and provide basic administrative support for a unit(s) and the Nursing Department.

Have an active Florida CNA license in good standing
Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self motivated, detail oriented, dependable, professional, and ability to multi-task a must.
Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to resident and families and to work cooperatively with others.
Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
