Job Description

We are excited to announce that we are seeking Furniture Sales Associates to join our team at our upcoming Brownwood location in The Villages! We are looking for driven, positive, fun individuals looking for an opportunity to grow with our company. You will work with guests to meet their furniture needs by discovering their style preference, demonstrating knowledge of current furniture trends, and creating furniture packages that will meet their demands. You will also help resolve customer questions and offer solutions to enhance the customer experience. $40,000-$50,000 starting salary. Pay is hourly plus performance incentives.


  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers

  • Prospect and contact potential customers

  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline

  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints

  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments

  • Manage and distribute sales material to present to customers


  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, interior design or other related fields

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to build rapport with clients

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Deadline and detail-oriented

  • Previous Furniture Sales experience a plus

  • Interior Design / Decorating experience a plus

For 30 years, Babette's Furniture & Home in Leesburg Florida has been providing Lake and Sumter counties with beautiful, high quality furniture and home accessories. Our family owned, small business has grown into two retail locations with over 75,000 square feet of showrooms and an additional 50,000 square foot distribution center. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
